I loved being there, the place is quiet and comfy.

The staff was very welcoming and welcoming and the place was clean. Overall it was big size with private bathroom. Remote location was a plus👍

It was a perfect experience. The staff were supper friendly and very attentive and our room was bright with sofas as well as an amazing view. The particularly nice breakfast was included. The hotel was in a fantastic location so close to the farm and other attractions and Iceland.

I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, a fridge and coffee/tea making equipment. A handy kitchenette was a nice surprise. The service was friendly, including an easy check-in;)))

This hotel was a fantastic find! The location in a remote, isolated village up in Iceland was simply magical. The rooms, situated inside a cozy grass-covered building in the middle of a snow-covered tundra, were exquisite. The attention to detail and the basic amenities provided, like the private bathroom in the shared house, were top-notch. The staff was prompt and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. Breakfast had a broad variety of options and was worth the price difference for the hotel-like rooms. The newer wooden house added to the charm.

Fjalladyrd - Modrudalur A Fjollum Modrudalur is located in a quiet and beautiful area between Myvatn and Egilstadir. The hotel can be reached by driving down a rough dirt track, which adds to the charm of the location. The rooms offer amazing views to wake up to, and the staff provides excellent service. The breakfast provided is delicious and satisfying. the hotel is surrounded by nature and offers opportunities to spot friendly animals like cats and dogs.

The hotel lacks a TV in the rooms.

I had an amazing stay at Fjalladyrd in Modrudalur! The house I stayed in was absolutely incredible - a spacious kitchen, cozy wooden interior, and a huge bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was also perfect for enjoying the beautiful wilderness of Iceland and even catching a glimpse of the mesmerizing northern lights. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly unforgettable experience.
